This campaign showcased immediate, strategic action in response to a potential PR crisis. When Belgium’s cycling hero Remco Evenepoel was doored by a bpost employee, the incident could have severely damaged the brand’s reputation.
Instead of staying silent or issuing a standard apology, bpost acted within days, collaborating with Evenepoel to create The Remco Reflex—a proactive initiative to prevent future accidents. The quick execution of 10.000 stickers in bpost vans, 90.000 public orders, and 760.000.000 media impressions turned a reputational threat into a powerful safety movement, proving the impact of fast, purposeful PR.
